   • Create an account and username (FSA ID)
   • Fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) Form

If you are planning to start classes in Winter 2026, Spring 2026, or Summer 2026, please complete the 2025-26 FAFSA. If you will start classes in Fall 2026 or later, please complete the 2026-27 FAFSA.

If you are not a US Citizen or Permanent Resident, you can complete the Washington Application for State Financial Aid (WASFA) instead of the FAFSA.

1. CTCLink: your CTCLink ID number will be included in your acceptance email from WCC. Use this guide or watch this video for help with activating your CTCLink account.
2. MyWCC Student Network Account: check your email for a message from studenthelpdesk@whatcom.edu with a link to set up your student network account.

Your student network account includes an official student email address. If you want, you can forward the email the college sends there to your personal email. Here are the instructions for forwarding your messages.

Call 360-383-3080 to schedule an entry advising appointment (required for all new students) with your advisor.

Refer to this guide for instructions on how to search for and enroll in a class in CTCLink. Please activate your network accounts and complete math and English placement before meeting your Advisor.

Visit the front desk of the Learning Commons Building. Your Orca Student ID card will be available to print one hour after you have registered for classes. Be sure to bring a government form of photo ID! 

In-Person: visit the Cashier’s window in the Laidlaw Center.

Online: login to ctcLink, select Financials, select What I Owe, and then select Make a Payment.
