SNAP/Basic Food Benefits: You might be eligible to receive Basic Food benefits! Visit this link to see if you qualify and start the application online.

Market Match: This program matches Basic Food Benefits dollar-for-dollar for up to $40 in fresh produce per shopper per day (you must already have basic food benefits). Market Match is available at limited locations.

• Sun Bucks: Summer food benefits program for children aged 8-18 years and income eligible (qualify for free or reduced meals) in WA state. The program provides $120 per child in food benefits. SUN Bucks Customer Service Contact Center at 1-833-543-3230 between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Women, Infants & Children: WIC is a nutrition program for new mothers and children under 5.

Food Delivery: The Bellingham Food Bank provides food box deliveries to those who are unable to visit a food bank due to a disability, lack of transportation, scheduling conflicts, or illness.

Bellingham Housing Authority: The Bellingham Housing Authority has several programs available to help find affordable housing. Visit their website to see if any of their waitlists are currently open for new applicants.

Mercy Housing: Mercy Housing provides affordable housing based on annual household income. Check out their website to see if you qualify and to search for housing.

Indigo Real Estate: Income restricted housing for individuals earning less than 60% of the area median income. Their website allows you to search by region, but you’ll need to contact each property individually.

Opportunity Council: Opportunity Council can support with paying rent, transitional and permanent housing, and eviction and homelessness prevention.

Northwest Youth Services: Are you under 25? NWYS can help with a variety of housing options, including temporary shelters, transitional housing, and more.
